If Christ really is Lord, then it seems logical to assume that He is profoundly interested in the way humans understand humanity. What I believe about me affects how I live, and what I believe about you affects how I value you and whether or not I am prepared to lift a finger to help you, even to bring you to the one who gives eternal life. If Christ is Lord of ALL then He must have something striking and profound and challenging to say about the great categories which we allow to shape our world - politics, media, environment, art, business etc.

On B&C we want to un-pick some of these categories and ask what the Lordship of Jesus says in profound ways to the basis of understanding which we have inherited from a world which denies His Lordship.
