Ephesians: Gospel Church and Culture
Description:
This course examines the meaning of the Gospel, the nature and mission of the church, and the church’s engagement with culture, drawing on a detailed reading of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. We will explore various ways in which Paul’s teaching provides a comprehensive Christian vision of reality which challenges core assumptions of the modern world which are at work in contemporary culture. We will explore similarities and differences between ancient Ephesus and today’s Berlin as a point of reference in our discussions.
