Is our summer school, running from 19-25 July 2026, in beautiful Woltersdorf on the edge of Berlin.
It is the place to be if you are a thinking Christian and you want to know better how to connect what you believe with the world we live in. Our courses are led by amazing instructors, who give their time to help us grow in our ability to see Christ as Lord over all that we encounter.

In 2026 we are offering 4 courses which will run in parallel. Please select one of the following courses.
How much does it cost?
To make Bible and Culture accessible to all who wish to attend, we offer two types of accommodation…
The Freitzeithaus is a private youth hostel, located with its own garden and canal frontage - great for volleyball, barbecues, and generally relaxed evenings. Accommodation here is in shared rooms 2-4 people per room with shared bathrooms. It is a 15 minute walk from the Hotel where courses are taught.
The Hotel offers single or twin rooms each with en suite bathrooms.
Costs include all meals and tuition!
If you wish to receive University Credits for your participation at B&C, there is an additional tuition fee of €200.

Bible and Culture is open to all Christians interested in exploring how our faith informs our engagement with the world around us. There is no requirement to be affiliated with IFES, or with Regent College, or to hold a degree.

Bible and Culture 2026 will take place only in the week from Sunday 19 July to Saturday 26 July.
If you wish to take a course for University credit, there will be additional work required of you before and after the week on site.

We are offering 4 courses that will run in parallel with each other, therefore in 2026 each participant will only be able to take 1 course. If you want more than that please come back next year : )

Regent College is an international graduate school of Christian studies affiliated with the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada. For more details, please visit Regent College.

Regent College is a graduate school of theology in Vancouver, Canada. It offers a Diploma in Christian Studies and various Master’s degrees in theology. In Canada, students complete programs by earning academic credit through the successful completion of individual courses/modules. For example, a Regent College Diploma is 24 credits and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies is 42 credits.
The academic credit option at Bible and Culture is a way of earning academic credits towards a future Regent College Diploma or select Master’s programs. Regular participants at Bible and Culture will fully take part in class sessions and complete some preparatory readings. Those who wish to receive academic credit will also complete post-class readings and writing assignments and receive a course grade. Each course/module at Bible and Culture is worth 2 academic credits towards most Regent programs.
Additional academic credits could be earned either by enrolling in additional Regent courses online or in person at Regent’s campus in Vancouver.

In the Freizeithaus we are living together under one roof. We’ll provide breakfasts and dinner, and lunch will be with the other participants over in the Hotel.
You will be asked to help with keeping the place clean and with washing up after the evening meal.

We ask all participants to pay a €50 deposit when you register.
If you wish to take advantage of the early bird reduction, please pay the full course fees before the 19 February 2026.

Where does B&C happen?
Bible and Culture takes place in the pretty small town of Woltersdorf, just beyond the eastern city limits of Berlin.
You can arrive by plane to Berlin Brandenburg, by train to Berlin Hauptbahnhof, by car, bicycle or even canoe! Berlin’s excellent public transport system means you can find your way around easily day or night. During many of the B&C courses we will have trips into central Berlin.
